Moulton Library, Health and Wellbeing Managers
Hi, we're Rachael and Dionne,
We are here to connect local people, build and strengthen support networks and, as a result, combat isolation and improve health and wellbeing.
We work alongside Moulton Parish Council and Moulton Surgery to promote our Health & Wellbeing Strategy. We organise informative and fun events and talks aimed at raising awareness and improving health and wellbeing for us all. If you have any thoughts, ideas, knowledge or experience regarding health issues that you feel would be of benefit to the community, then please email us at info@moultonnorthants-pc.gov.uk or phone us on 01604 642202.
Upcoming Health & Wellbeing events' posters and information leaflets are on display on noticeboards around the area and at the Surgery. Also please like our Facebook www.facebook.com/MoultonLibraryHub/
or follow me on Twitter: @moultonconnect for the latest news and information.
There are regular meetings and events at the community centre, see this page for more details:

We have a vibrant and lively community spirit and we work to develop connections and relationships. We have set up the Good Neighbour Volunteer Scheme to help the more isolated people in our community who are in need of a neighbourly helping-hand, transport or just a little company. There are so many ways in which you can help:
• Befriending someone in your community (visiting in person or even just making a regular phone call can make a huge difference in someone's life). As part of the visit, there may also be a practical purpose, such as reading a newspaper for a visually impaired person, mowing the lawn, or changing a light bulb. If you know anyone who may be interested in receiving this kind of support then please encourage them to get in touch.
• Volunteering as a Driver, accompanying residents to medical appointments on our car scheme. Or if you would like to drive the minibus for local residents, we can train you to update your licence to do this. This could make such a difference for people who would otherwise be unable to get out.
• Being an Outings Helper, for example going to the cinema and assisting with mobility, carrying shopping or pushing a wheelchair.
• Being a Functions Helper and assisting us with light tasks at the Health & Wellbeing Events
• Organising a new interest group or talk to share your knowledge, experience, skills or expertise with others.
No matter what skills or experience you have and whether you only have 10 minutes or 10 hours a month, please do get in touch (see contact details above)
