Stephen has lived in the village with his large family for over 30 years since moving in to and renovating Dr Smart's home and Doctors surgery in West Street. His wife Jill is well known in the village walking their Dalmatians.

He has run his own business's in Insurance Broking and Financial Services and continues to work on a consultancy basis.

His avocation's include gardening, fish keeping, cycling, playing squash and he has a great interest in the fluctuating fortunes of Northampton Saints for whom he played in the 1980s.

He very much enjoys his involvement with the multifarious councillors and the indispensable support of Jane and the admin team at MPC.
